# I3C Target Board

> The Binho I3C Target Board holds Bosch Shuttle 3.0 and STMicroelectronics DIL24 evaluation boards, to test I3C target devices with a Supernova.

The I3C Target Board holds Bosch and STMicroelectronics evaluation boards, to test their I3C target devices with a [Binho Supernova](/hardware/supernova/). The evaluation boards are not included: buy them separately.

## What it holds

## What is on the board

* **Two sockets:** one for a Shuttle 3.0 board and one for a DIL24 board. Both can be fitted and used at the same time.
* **Headers:** standard 2.54 mm headers expose all the I3C target pins.
* **Logic analyzer headers:** on the SCL and SDA signals, for bus monitoring. Connect a logic analyzer to capture the traffic.
* **Daisy chain:** the I3C bus passes through the board, so several devices can be connected in series.
* **Power jumpers:** select external power or power from the Supernova.

## Connect it

1. Fit the evaluation board in its socket.
2. Set the power jumpers: external supply, or the Supernova's.
3. Connect the board to the Supernova's I3C port.
4. Open the Supernova in [Mission Control 3](/software/mission-control/) or [PyCosmicSDK](https://binhollc.github.io/pycosmicsdk/) and scan the I3C bus.
