# BMC C++ SDK

> Introduction to the legacy BMC C++ SDK, a dynamic library for the Binho Nova and Supernova that sends Bridge API commands to bmcbridge.

:::caution
This page covers the **BMC C++ SDK**, the earlier library for the Binho Nova and Supernova, which needs the Binho Mission Control Bridge. For the Supernova and the Pulsar, use [CosmicSDK](/software/cosmicsdk/), which talks to the adapter directly. The BMC C++ SDK remains the C++ option for the Nova.

## Introduction

The Binho Mission Control C++ SDK (BMC C++ SDK) is a dynamic library for the Binho Nova and Supernova host adapters.

The library sends [Bridge API](/software/legacy/bridge-11-api/) commands to the BMC Bridge (`bmcbridge`), a compiled build of the Python SDK, so it offers the same functions as the Python SDK from C++.
