# Transaction Log View

> Guided tour of the Mission Control 2 Transaction Log View: log every PC-to-device transaction, then save, clear, restore and filter it.

Building on the I3C example from the [Command Panel](/software/legacy/mission-control-2/interactive-tour/command-panel/), the interactive tour sheds light on several invaluable features of the Transaction Log View.

Positioned on the right-hand side of the BMC layout, the Transaction Log View serves as a dynamic transaction logger, capturing every transaction between the PC and connected devices via the Host Adapter.

Transaction Log View features:

1. **Log Management:** Save the transaction log to a file, clear it, and restore it.
2. **Data Formatting:** Toggle between different display formats for the logs.
3. **Clipboard Utility:** Copy the log content to the clipboard.
4. **View Customization:** Choose how the data is organized, with options to present it in either a console or table format.
