# Download & Installation

> Open Mission Control 3 in a Chromium browser at mc3.binho.io, or install the desktop app, for the Binho Supernova, Pulsar and Atira.

Mission Control 3 works with the **Binho Supernova**, the **Binho Pulsar** and the **Binho Atira**. Use it in the browser, or install the desktop app. Both have the same tools, except the MCU Programmer and the MCU Debugger for the Atira, which are in the desktop app only.

:::note
Update the adapter to the latest firmware before starting. See [Updating Firmware](/guides/firmware-updates/).

:::

**Web app**

Open [mc3.binho.io](https://mc3.binho.io/). There is nothing to install and no sign-up.

**Browser:** a Chromium-based browser on a desktop computer: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Opera. Mission Control 3 talks to the adapter through WebHID, and the Serial Terminal uses Web Serial. Firefox and Safari support neither: the app opens, but cannot connect to hardware.

**Pair the adapter:**

1. Plug the adapter in with the supplied USB cable.
2. In any tool, open the device selector at the top left and click **Pair Device**.
3. Choose the adapter in the browser's dialog and click **Connect**.
4. Click **Connect** in the tool.

The browser remembers the pairing for mc3.binho.io. One browser tab at a time can use an adapter; if another Mission Control 3 tab holds it, close that tab or click **Request access**.

To try the tools without hardware, choose **Binho Supernova (SIM)** or **Binho Pulsar (SIM)** in the device selector.

:::caution
**Linux:** the browser needs the same USB permissions as the desktop app. If the adapter does not open, follow [Solving USB Connection Issues on Linux](/support/troubleshooting/solving-usb-connection-issues-on-linux/), then unplug and replug the adapter.

:::

**Desktop app**

Download the installer for the operating system from the [Mission Control 3 download page](https://binho.io/test-measurement/mission-control-3/download/) on binho.io.

| System | File | Install |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Windows 10 or later, x64 | `MissionControl3-<version>.exe` | Run the installer. It installs for all users and asks for administrator rights. |
| macOS, Apple Silicon | `MissionControl3-<version>-arm64.dmg` | Open the `.dmg` and drag **Mission Control 3** into **Applications**. |
| macOS, Intel | `MissionControl3-<version>-x64.dmg` | Same as Apple Silicon. |
| Linux, x64 | `MissionControl3-<version>.AppImage` | `chmod +x MissionControl3-*.AppImage`, then run it. |

Plug the adapter in with the supplied USB cable and launch Mission Control 3. The adapter appears under **Connected Devices** on the home screen. Choose a tool to start.

The desktop app checks for updates and offers to install them.

**Windows:** the installer is signed by Binho LLC. If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click **More info**, check that the publisher is Binho LLC, and click **Run anyway**.

**Linux:** the current user needs permission to open the adapter. If no adapter appears, copy the commands from [Solving USB Connection Issues on Linux](/support/troubleshooting/solving-usb-connection-issues-on-linux/) and run them in a terminal. Then log out and back in, and replug the adapter. From the AppImage, the app's **Fix Permissions** banner cannot install the rules yet.

## Mission Control 2 (Binho Nova)

For the Binho Nova, use Mission Control 2: see [Mission Control 2](/software/legacy/mission-control-2/).
